I did agility for years with my yellow labrador and he loved it, we didn't do a lot of competitions but he did get me some clear rounds He wasn't slow either - but not as fast as the collies, and he never seemed to quite get the point of the weave poles - would just do the first three or four then wander off in disgust

I'll dig out a photo of him tonight for you all.

HI Patch - I competed with my Irish Setter, many many years ago now. She was very accurate but not the fastest in the world!

Would love to get back into it with my Gordons! Just can't get into a club near me that doesn't clash with my ringcraft night! All the clubs seem to fill up with current members new pups

My Irish girl absolutely loved it we had a great time together doing it!

I have collies or X's thereof, but at club we have a stunning boxer who puts some of the collies to shame. If I was looking for a midi (I know that's not right and can't remember the new term!) I'd be looking for a staffie. We might trash the course, but a good round would be stunning!

I've only ever done the makeshift course they used to set up in class for us. Couple of jumps, weave poles, tunnel and table. I enjoyed it and Shadow, my bc cross, loved it. Had all sorts of dogs going over it. Funniest one to watch was the St Bernard though. He was so slow and deliberate about it all and had to crawl through the tunnel but he seemed to enjoy it just as much as the smaller and quicker dogs.
I hoped to be able to do agility with Rupert but the way he is at the moment there's no chance.

Fantastic pics guys :smt007
This is what its all about, the dogs having such a fab time and people seeing that so many different breeds can all have the same fun !
Who knows how many owners might be encouraged to take that first step toward classes for their own beloved dogs because of you guys showing your beauties strutting their stuff - keep the great pics coming
