"elsa" looking for a new home

With great sadness we must rehome our 11 month old British Shorthair x Maine Coon...she is a rather beutiful cat but has a lot of behavioural issues from her past.
She came from a "breeder" who is a downright lowlife who just X breeds cats for money...Elsa's litter all died bar her and her brother who were fostered off with a persian and her litter sired by the same tom. They were kept in this cubby hole/cupboard sorta thing with little if any human socialisation-we got her at three months and she was very timid. She was quite poorly when she first came from the poor start she had-colon infection, flea anemia and serve dehydration are the things i can remember well...so had to spend a lot of time away from us and isolated at the vets-which made matters worse. She began to distrust people VERY quickly and was just not the same ever again..she runs, hides etc from us-you cant even stroke her let alone anything else! She has become 'viscious' through being such a stressed out kitty we think...things are really getting out of hand.
She has started to pick on the other pets-not too sure why but its dangerous as 1) They could get hurt or 2) They could ALL (which happened t'other day) turn on Elsa and she could get SERIOUSLLY hurt if not worse...
She is pretty much feralised (is that a word?!?!) she can not be handled in anyway without blood and tears, she doesnt like children and has issues with being in a multi-pet home-she is exceptionally jealous and doesnt seem to tolerate other animals.
We have tried everything-looking for a medical reason, behaviourists, letting her do thing on her terms, reward basis training and everything else you can think of-NOWT has worked. and now we have the difficulty of her having issues with the other pets-causing them distress and fighting with them and as she is the one causing the trouble we feel it right to rehome her as three of the other four housepets were here before Elsa and it isnt fair for them to be in distress-also Elsa just doesnt like being part of the pack, and it isnt fair for her to have to life a lifestyle she is unhappy with.
So we have made the hard decision to rehome her...and there are two types of home we have in mind.
!) *this is preferable* A stable yard/farm etc to take her on as a working mouser, where she can do as she pleases and lead the simple free ranging life with no humans to hinder her.

or

2) A very rural home, with no other pets and no children where she can come and go as she pleases with no worries..and maybe in time with a lot of work the new owners could win her around.

Elsa is 11 months old, not speyed yet, up to date on flea treatment, worming, de-fleaing etc..and a rather beutiful cat! it breaks my heart to have to do this but we know it is the best for everyone. We have contacted the appropriate rescues and they have yet to get back to us-but i thought i would have a go at posting on here too!
If you or someone you know thinks they could take this beutifull girl in and offer her the kind of home she needs including the time to possiblly build the trust back up, or the location for her to do as she wishes-then contact either through PM or posting on here.

Sorry to hear that Luke, but does sound like she is very unhappy with the set up,as you say she maybe a lot happier mousing in a farmyard or living in a home where there is just her and she can eventually learn to trust people and have all the attention for herself.Hope you find a suitable home soon, she is beautiful.

Thanks Lynne-she is an independant lass, likes hunting and spending time outdoors....and that with her want of the solitary life is what made us think of a working home (plus DM suggested it on catpages!)
Do feel a bit of a failiure though..first kitten i brought up without anyones help and it ends like this

Fingers crossed that all goes well.

I don't lock threads until they've definately found a home and even then, you can always give me a kick up the bum and tell me to unlock it

Hope all works out well for her with the stables if not I'll see I have a place in mind that might suit. Would need to talk to the owners firdt. They have other ferral cats that are left to their own devices.
