Yes please griff. BT tested line said that is ok. Gorden did the test plug thing and phone didn't work.

Bedroom finished now just the mess to clear up groom Dillon then I am having a shower and popping my clothes which have about s much paint on them as the walls do in the wash.

Just received the email from British legion asking me to complete a survey but did not answer my question.
So have had to give negative feedback asking them to answer my question.

Dad said it could still be a high resistance fault even though the line tested o.k. He says you could take the front of the socket off, and the wires should be in he thinks 2 &5 with the earth in 3....white blue in 2 green 3 orange and white in 5

Thanks griff Gorden did that before booking engineer appointment. Still no dialling tone when he did it.
Gorden says the same as your dad it could be a high resistance fault even though line tested ok so we shall see what the engineer has to say and fingers crossed it's their fault and not ours. Otherwise it will be a £129.00.

of course the problem could be down to you being on the end of the line . if there are many before you then the power ain't reaching you.

Well that is what we used to tell customers before the fault was fixed

Right home now a bit rainy/yukky which is a shame but there again what can you expect in Nov. Hope everyone with a party has a great night, but the fireworks going off look great.
Over the way they have a party too............just had an invite may pop over depends on if I fancy getting up to put a coat on
