Afternoon lovely walk in Brandon park and a cuppa and gingerbread man afterwards.
Bit of pottering in the garden when we got back.

Here's a few photos. I now have a very dirty Dillon.

Beautiful photos Lynn, think his lordship is only working half days! He was home lunchtime again! I have managed to change the sheets on my bed and get them into the machine. I told him I will do his tomorrow while he is at work. Hopefully it will be a longer day! I did all the other washing of jeans and what have you he put into the machine, the worst dried out of them all. Rather than row with him again, having walked Amber we shall both go to bed to enjoy our clean sheets.

I do think a lot of my allergy could be her being so hairy and leaving it all on the bed. I was wondering if I could get someone to come bathe her and give her a good combing but his lordship says she wouldn't allow it. I am not sure she might come to enjoy it?! Any thoughts!

You don't know until you try Moyra. It sounds to me as if Steve has to many opinions but is of very little help or support.
If you want to try do it it is at the end of the day none of his business. He doesn't seem to do anything practical in the way of helping out around the house or with Amber it seems. So in my opinion has no say in your choices for her or yourself.

Ignore the person who doesn’t own or pay the bills Moyra. I don’t know where in Essex you are but you’re spoilt for choice Re: mobile dog groomers. A Labrador will be fine for them to deal with.

Tinas Mobile Dog Grooming
covers Basildon

Ellie Raes Mobile Grooming

You’ll have to google phone numbers but GO FOR IT!!
