The digger has gone ( I think and hope!)

It has been sitting leering at me from over the river for many weeks, intermittently shaking its buckets and rattling its innards sometimes till dark,, For the last weeks it has been lurking ...They rarely finish a job straight off here , just walk away and come back when they feel like it.

Sometimes I hate summer; always noise. LOUD noise. Next will be the sileage harvest here and today I saw a log carrier at the top which means they will be cutting forestry soon. NB I thought they were not allowed until August because of the wild life...

But I have the early hours; I wake as early as 3 am which is when I can chat with family overseas across the time zones... Blissfully quiet with the birds slowly awakening with sleepy songs

Yes and yes!

It is larger than a cottage; a two storey farmhouse slightly elevated with mountains all round. I took that when there was of course a rainbow. Views in every direction and I love that.

Rose, you'll be glad to get rid of that noise then. Seems a shame to spoil such a beautiful view with horrible loud noise. Not surprised it upsets you. Do take care of you. ((Hugs))

I'm jealous, all i see is roof tops from the back and, yes roof tops from the front, oh and a noisy kid from next door.

Awwww.. been there done that and never again,, I have better ones and will try to sort them at some stage
