Looking up places for Ben's birthday party in December and found this ... looks a good turnover and you could just employ a couple of staff to run it

http://www.daltonsbusiness.com/cafes...land-uk/242307

Then you could live somewhere like this nearby ...

I could actually see you living in either Gullane or Aberlady - both are gorgeous little villages right by the beach

All the areas I have suggested are really, really nice areas of East Lothian (reported to be the most prosperous county in Scotland?).

whenever I move you better be on my thread kirsty

I wonder if most prosperous means growth? (at the moment?) since its actually looking cheaper? IDK, but you can find my next property anyway

EDIT; if looking into areas of multiple deprivation in Scotland you can use this site http://simd.scotland.gov.uk/East-Lot...ved/RedToBlue/

EDIT: if there is something like that for England you could look up why its so cheap in Yorkshire and find out....

Blimey Dave said he'd love to get his hands on that one!! Sadly both of these last links are under offer. The other one is in a kind of complex (estate) from looking at the garden pic and that's a big no-no. Pity, coz I love the inside of it, right up my street that one! When you street view it, it looks a completely different house and it's all on its own, not like in the 12 pics where you see all the others from the garden? Strange, but then that always happens with the street view they give you with the particulars.

Thanks for those Kirsty. Dave keeps harping on that he doesn't think I'll cope with the weather, let alone the seclusion in Scotland (who would I chat to???? ) Zena????

As you say Natalie, cheap as chips isn't it! It's definitely time to relocate, settle down and get more for our money somewhere else. I've heard back from that school in Scotland she's going to send me 2 year's accounts (that's the one where we started!). I haven't given up on Pembrokeshire though, coz again, that certainly is a lot of value for your money up that way.

Kirsty - Some fabulous places and you certainly get a lot of bricks & mortar for your £ not sure if I need 24 bedrooms 'tho even 4 is generous for us

But thanks to you I now know the nice areas of East Lothian to look, such a shame it's so far, if we keept this place then any of those locations would double the distace I would have to travel betwween homes
