We revamped the kitchen in our previous house, not to sell but did sell it later. The cupboard doors were oak, we got them dipped and then oiled them rather than re-varnish and got new handles, it looked a lot better. Replaced the worktops and sink, looked like a new kitchen for a fraction of the cost.
