Carrot cake with home-made carrots!

It was my Mum's neighbour's birthday last week and she "commissioned" me to make a cake for him-bet you can't guess his name!

I'm not good at decorating cakes but I was quite pleased with the carrots I made for the top out of icing. The little brown sugarpaste rabbits I bought from Tesco's.
It has walnuts on the top too to signify there are walnuts inside. I work with someone with a nut allergy so was worried that someone at the party may have one too and not realise there were nuts in a carrot cake.
