They were a bit late coming but I think my keep pinching them out worked as it made them nice & bushy around the bottom & it was only when they reached the tops of the canes I didn't know what to do with them so I rested another cane across the top to make them meet. I've since taken that out as they are holding their own in the arch shape.
Definitely going to try again next year now
Are the pods seeds which you can keep & plant again?

Nevermind Sue - I pulled out my mangetout, they were a disaster
