Dog borstal

I cant believe what i have just watched on the tv.
Basically a barking spaniel.
They tied it to a tree, it wouldnt stop barking so the owner was instructed to walk up to it shout in its face to shut up and throw a cup of water full pelt in its face.
I cant believe they have just broadcast that on the tv

Pretty standard stuff for Dog Borstal which is why a heck of a lot of protests were made against the programme.

Practices out of the ark and some very dangerous ones too. Thankfully, it's not being made anymore, but, of course, the repeats keep popping up periodically

you knew by the trainer what training the dog was going to get before you even heard what was wrong

rattle bottles, yanking leads and 'agility' (ie heavy young dogs being made to jump full hight

Cant believe that people can do such things-glad to read its not being made any more.
Saw it advertised ,but never watched it-what exactly is it all about-is it dogs with "problems" and someone "training " the owners how to deal with them? Its American isnt it ?

That's what someone in our training class advised the owner of a barking Staffy to do! I said it was a really bad idea as the dog was barking because it was stressed and this wasn't going to change the dog's state of mind.

SOME PEOPLE JUST WANT A QUICK SOLUTION!
