Greyhounds
Great Danes
Dachshunds (seriously, mine'll sleep on my lap all day every day if they could, they hate it when I force them out for their daily walk!)

That reminds me of a friends Basset

I can only vouch for dogs I've known but Deerhounds must be up there. They will lounge about and sleep like logs but unlike the basset (still chuckling) they're ready for action in the blink of an eye.

Good old Labs love a snooze too.

Without a doubt, Greyhounds they are well known as 40mph couch potatoes. They would sleep all day and all night on the sofa with just a quick toilet break if allowed every day of the year.

Laytons - who have to be bodily carried out into the garden for a late night poo when they've got comfy and won't move.

Greyhounds without a doubt.
A short burst of exercise and they sleep for the rest of the day

First thought was Greyhounds, aren't they meant to love ligging about all day?

1. Greyhound
2. Whippet
3. Basset
4. Dachund
5. Great Dane

I know it depends on personality and general levels of exercise, but this is my opinion. I chose Greyhounds because having lived with one, I know first hand just how LAZY they are!!! He's a big couch potato (or should it be floor potato in his case?) and sleeps around 20hours a day by my estimation...
