House insulation

Has anybody had the cavity wall insulation done?
Ive got a survey on monday and keep hearing horror stories about the damage to the walls etc.
Have my dogsey friends got any feedback for me?

we've had it done and there was no problems with it
some people came round doing survey type things cant remember exactly i think they were something to do with the government as it didnt cost very much at all they checked the level of insulation in the loft as well and told us it was more than adequate, we agreed to the cavity wall and about two weeks later round they came, duna and dusted in 1 day

just remembered i think it was homeserve that did ours, that name rings a bell anyway

We haven't had it done. I do remember seeing a programme (maybe rogue traders or something with dom littlewood in) about how it can cause problems in certain types of buildings (can't for the life of me remember what they were through, sorry) but if the survey is being carried out by a reputable company they should know about this anyway.
