Are these mushrooms poisonous ?

I have no idea about plants and gardening at all ... I found these mushrooms growing under our hedge in the garden.
I first spotted them three days ago , a huge clump of them , pulled them all out and disposed of them ... now they are growing back and obviously im worried that my dogs might eat them and get poisoned

any ideas what they are called ? ... and whats the best way to destroy them completely ?

Thanks

They're toadstalls and poisonous.

They grow where theres rotting vegetation underground (normally old tree roots) and you need to knock them off with your foot then remove. If you keep ontop of them-they will eventually dissapear because they multiply by means of spores.

ps.I had them in my garden too.

Yep! seen them in our garden too, I wasn't sure if they were harmful or not but removed them as soon as their heads pop up
