This is an Australian Shepherd (confusingly, not really Aussie but from the USA!)

And this is a German Shepherd:

Ok, we have the same German Shepherds, but I have never seen an Australian Shepherd. I googled Australian Border Collies and Border Collies and I can't see the difference, so maybe we just call them Australian...which is a bit silly.

1. Border Collie - got a 13 year old red/white one who was a farm reject as she liked the sofa rather than the sheep. Such a character, I love her more than anything in life!
2-5 Crossbreed without a doubt. Why have a good bit of one breed when you can have dogs with many fantastic traits.

1. Crossbreed- I fell in love with them when we got Murphy, he's such a special, good natured dog. Loves to play, loves attention, great for cuddles. He's a great advert for crossbreeding.

1. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (have one!)- Joint 1st because I always wanted one, they always seemed friendly, sweet natured little dogs, very good for a cuddle.

3. Border Collie- Good looking dog, very smart. We don't have the room sadly.

4. Alaskan Malamute- another very good looking dog. Saw some when we were looking for a pup, they are so majestic. Again, didn't have the room for one.

5.Long haired Dachshund- considered getting one, but at the time we had stairs so it wasn't an option.
