Morning all
Early start again today, Kota is much better on the steroids...hoping she continues to improve, just discovered that the specialist vet hasn't given us enough steroids for what he said.....we are very very short, I use steroids so have some here but will have a word with my vet.
Not sure what I will be doing today..... probably nothing lol

Well that's no good not giving you enough steroids for what the specialist said, good they are working though.

Lovely morning here with a bit of frost overnight. Teazle walked, winter coat and her jacket washed and on the line. Going out shortly to a garden centre, Dunelm and a pet shop for some frozen food for her ladyship.

Morning Lynn and Sue.....he billed me for 21 tablets and I have 21 tablets but he said 2 tablets Twice a day for a week.....that's 28 tablets already, then 1tablet 2 times a day for a week....so that's another 14. It's not like I live near them to be able to pop over and pick up more

Early start for us today because Dave has a telephone hospital at 11 am.

Lovely though because it's mild out and not so many in town at 9 am. In fact, we were the only car in the car park when we got there.

It's Dave's turn to be busy today. After the consult he has to go look at a storage heater that a guy's selling (we've been looking for ages because you can't get the ones we want new anymore) then he's taking Gary's shopping through for him. So, I have a day off

I get the tablet shortage all the time when they alter Gary's meds, Kelly. What is it with doctors and vets that they can't count?

I can't really fathom his thinking behind 21 tablets I guess he has/had a reason...who knows lol

Nurse 'phone bang on appointment time and said doctor not in until this afternoon so will 'phone after 3 pm. So, after all that, we could have gone out at our normal time

I think they 'miscalculate' to get more money out of you, Kelly.

When Gary changes or gets new extra meds, they have to be introduced in 25 mg increments with 2 weeks between increases. I end up having to 'phone every month to tell them to increase. Even then, with it being increased every two weeks, I have to work out what we will need for the month or they get it wrong. Something I'm used to now, but it takes ages trying to get through to the doctors by 'phone

Yeah... it's like a months supply, it's not a calendar month so 28 days and that messes things up with reordering
