The Park was strangely empty...(winter draws on?)

I work with a group of teens on Sat. mornings so afterwards I take the dogs to the Park to combine Lunch & Dog Walking. Usually we are glared at by the weekend families but today we sat in magnificent isolation as I clung to a mug of hot chocolate and the dogs kindly helped me with a Bacon Sarnie. Just me and two other GSD owners in the Park today.
Was it the sub-zero temperatures or has everyone begun their Christmas Shopping?

Probably the cold. Just bought some snow boarding wear for dog walking in, and I can now enjoy my walks in peace without people being terrified of cuddly bear Loki!

Although I don't mind sharing the park with other dog walkers, it's great to have it to yourself, isnt it?

On contrast, the park I use was full of Gundogs this morning! Loads of Golden Retrievers and Labradors! A few Spaniels too. Don't know what was going on!
