France is off

Pete and I have decided we are not going to France. All I have lost is the far back as a footpassenger with the dogs on an approved carrier. So Hebrides here I come, well if the weather holds.

Raze we leave Conway weekend after next. We will be mooring up the West Coast at various places and will be taking in Barra, the Uists, Benbecula and if the weather holds will be hopefully going over to Harris and Lewis.

So Raze jump on board. Told the troops that they can have a lovely run on Luskintyre sands. I fell in love with the Outer Hebrides a long time ago. Pehaps thats why Peter and I got married in Stornoway on Lewis.

Keep your fingers crossed that the weather holds and if it doesn't we will just stay moored in Conway. Theres a good pub in the marina for food, ale and good wine.

Well the Outer Hebrides are the islands off the west coast of scotland. They say if you stand on the butt of Lewis you can with binos see Iceland or maybe faroe cant remember.

The sands are the most beautiful I have seen. Lots of sandy beaches for the dogs. Only problem weather is normally overcast and not so warm even in summer. Wooley jumpers and hats are the norm. But I do love the place.

They say it is the call of the islands you either love them or hate them. West coast of the outer hebrides are on the atlantic. Sit on the beach and watch the atlantic rollers coming in.

Have I sold this to you all.

Okay being honest its very desolate and lonely in some parts chilly and the islands get a lot of rain but for the dogs its heaven.

Sounds beautiful One day we will have to go, especially if dogs are allowed!

The only downside is the cold... *shivers* I think I was a summer baby although I was born in the winter lol I would love to go tho but as a second best will re-live in through all your hundreds of pictures !! *hint!*

Have fun and we'll be thinking of ya!
