Another phone call you don't really want.

I probably mentioned before that my daughter has just moved to Bristol, not far but far enough. She has always lived so close.
Well I got a phone call this morning from her partener to tell me my daughter was taken into hospital in the night with severe abdominal pain.
They suspect that she has a gall bladder infection but they are waiting for the results of tests.
I have to sit tight and wait for some news. They know travelling will be difficult for me.
So the new life K was so excited about starting, is starting in hospital

its frustrating when they are ill and live so far away. i know how u feel we had that earlier on last year.i couldnt get to see her as i had cronic tonsiltus at the time.

I had a phone call about an hour ago, she is home, it is her gall bladder and she is on the waiting list to have it removed.
So, bad enough but it could be much worse. I'm pleased she is home anyway.
