She can be very good and well behaved when I take her places
she certainly isnt acting calm is these pics

but she was even ignoring all the young pheasants wandering about the field and coming when I called her ,Benji on the other hand tries to catch little creatures

I think her concern would be that she lives in the middle of now-where and her dog is fantastic, doesn't run off and walks for miles everyday. Do you think this boy would chase sheep or escape like a husky might?

Ok, mine would definitely chase sheep even though I have them quite well trained, maybe only to play with the sheep but they would still harass them none the less. They (mine) would definitely have to be on lead around live stock, they are far to inquisitive to stay plodding along a footpath without a lead. Maybe a puppy brought up around livestock from the get go but risky with an older adolescent pup. If your friend couldn't work around this she might want to think again.
