You know there are many opinions on rescues on here and the plight of the dogs in their care - amusement is never one I thought I would find on here.

I`m sure all the people who have so much time to monitor Rescues they don`t approve of give the same amount of time supporting those they do.

Don`t they?

If you want to do something about Puppy Farms, do something about Puppy Farms.
Here`s a few links to help....
http://www.dogs-r-us.org/
http://www.puppywatch.org.uk/
http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/az/b/bat...s/default.aspx
http://www.wag-ayrshire.org.uk/
http://www.bordercollierescue.org/puppyfarm/index.html

The last one is particularly interesting as it details the legislation currently being drawn up for Wales.

Go on - put all that energy and outrage to some practical use.

Wow, talk about removing from context and twisting to suit.

The comment was in reference to the business/charity status issue and the debates/arguments in general.

Thanks but I also have the ability to critically evaluate peoples motives so I think I'll go with my instincts here and stick with my original thoughts on some of the people on here.
what contemplate alternative explanations for a given scenario? Yes, that doesn't require me to have met them, as I'm not saying what is true.

It is possible they were hacked.
It is possible they weren't.
It is possible they thought they had been.
It is possible they fabricated it.

I'm not saying which is correct, but despite me repeating that, you act like I am.

And think of me what you will, I don't care.

WEBSITE PROBLEMS
Many Tears apologises that our site was shut down. Webs put a standard explanation up why this happened and we had no control over it. However as you can see the site is now back, although in need of some updating, and this matter in now in the hands of the police.

Quite upsetting looking at the condition of so many of the 'ex-breeders'. I think by giving puppy farmers an easy exit solution they are making the problem worse, not better.

Agree Azz.

*sits back and waits for the generic opposing responses to begin*

I can see both sides of the discussion here. One thing I don't think anyone has mentioned........
If these ex breeders weren't rescued by the likes of MT, what would/should happen to them?
