Say hello to Minnie

On easter sunday her elderly owner died,none of the relatives were interested,so on the 28th she came home with me,she is 11yrs old and as you can see ,very overweight i took her to the vets on wednesday to be chipped and also got her on the scales,she is 10ins to the shoulder and weighs in at 11.9kgs .
Since being here she thinks her throats been cut,but she has taken very well to a raw diet,and is loving all the walks,she even had a little run this morning,so it may not be too long before i,m caling her skinny minnie .

She is a little top heavy isn't she - great that you have taken her on and look forward to seeing the new slimline Minnie in a few months time

Well done for taking her in-her prospects-given her age and size would probably have been bleak,perhaps?

Aah how nice of you to take her on! I am sure she will soon be looking svelte.

I know a dog trainer who took on an elderly min Poodle and she is still going strong in her late teens as they can be quite long-lived.

Well done for taking her on i'm sure she will be in shape soon enough
