Forget the running contacts, that little bitch is just amazing... I'm completely in love.

Is there anybody at all, anywhere in the UK who's importing the smooth-coated merles?

or anyone who speaks French well enough that I could begin to do that....

/sigh

I know, I saw her and then searched for UK pyr sheps
But it looks like they dont have the smooth faces ones in this country - well I couldnt find them

Then I decided rescue was the way to go
If you are really serious about wanting a small/medium agility dog then its not a bad idea to look in the rescue at the fully grown young dogs
Because getting a pup from a breeder you might end up with one that grows just an inch or 2 too high, or one that dosent like agility, or one with bad hips or something
As a slightly older dog you can know better the drive of the dog and if it would suit you and agility, sign up with an agility club, ours are always rescuing agility prospects from ireland pounds
My little Mia was in the pound, 5 days away from being PTS and she is fast and smart and going to measure a medium

Not to mention crazy, cute and a kinda merle

I'm happy to believe she is, just that she looks quite different than I'd imagined. Is there someone breeding merle ones somewhere? (and is it in Sweden?!?)
They do come in merle, the shap of the Foreign ones can be quite different, More Hairy & wild looking & smaller, there is some double merle breeding going on so you have to be carefull who you go to!

You guys are fantastic - thank you - and yes, am considering a rescue, but have had one before and - because this isn't only about agility - and this might well be the last dog, at least, the last pup, I'd like to go the whole 'bio-sensor', clicker-train from puppy-hood route just because it's possible and I've read so much behavioural stuff I'd really like to try.

but not essential. Thank you hugely Mishflynn for the link to the kennel where she's from.

thinking of emigrating to Norway now I've seen the pics on Sylvia's site...

thanks all
