Your most favourite place in the world?

Where is you most favourite place in the world; ever? Hard to choose -

Then where were you the happiest, or the place somethig momentous happened, or somewhere you just like being?

I think mine would be Jersey - on a deserted beach. Paradise.

Or walking on a warm rainy day with nothing to do but enjoy it.

St Germain in Paris, where my now husband and I went for our first 'serious' date That weekend he asked me to move in with him, so I did and never looked back since .

He treat me like a princess that weekend, it was the most amazing date of my life

We return to St Germain yearly and it brings tears of happiness to my eyes every time

Just a big softy really, my husband is wonderful

Not very far flung but definitely Newton Stewart, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. We stay on a site that is 7 miles from civilisation(could be 700) it is sooo peaceful. Beautiful pine forests, spectacular views, wonderful fishing. As soon as we start travelling up the M6 all worries are left behind - heaven on earth :smt007

I've never been abroad except a school trip to france

So I will say South West Ireland. I love Ireland it is beautiful. And they have great accents
That's the last place I went on holiday and it was really nice there very peaceful. An empty beach would be the best, just me and Brandie.

sounds like heaven to me.I feel the same about North Wales for hill walking but since kids came dont get the chance.Cornwall is a little bit of U.k at its best as well.
Sri Lanka is a facinating place with a wonderfull culture.Much better than the nearby Maldives where everyone seems to want to go.

Must admit, Jersey's beaches are amazing!

But for me it would have to be on top of Richmond racecourse (disused). About 1,000ft up and not another person in sight! Heaven :smt049
