Name that breed - please!

This morning, husband & I came across a gorgeous puppy of about 12 wks (wandering near a road) & returned it to very grateful owners. She had literally just got out!
Now puzzling over its breed , can anyone help?
She was grey, wrinkly (aren't all pups?), short haired, with light grey piercing eyes. Rather a square head and stocky body. She looked to me like she's going to grow into a 45kg plus dog.
Can anyone help & tell me the breed??

Neopolitan Mastiff? but would be bigger that 45kgs I'd imagnie.

Very wrinkly around the eyes???? Is there a French breed?? I'm sure not a Weimaraner, we have a Rhodesian Ridegeback and this was a much bulkier puppy and def a pedigree.

I had a rescue neo here for a while, they are lovely dogs,
