Bush or Kerry

Same sort of topic as Iraq. Do you want Bush or Kerry to get into the whitehouse - can't say it won't make any difference who's in the whitehouse these days is a major factor in the lives of our armed forces.

I dont know how anyone can possibly vote for either- what a complete pair of idiots

(the scarey part is though that whichever idiot wins will have so much power)

Kerry rather than Bush but ALL of it is engineered - they are merely working together for the 'bigger picture'

Did anyone watch 'The power of nightmares' scary stuff.. the battle between far right christian supremacy and muslim supremacy..so much of it makes sence when you look back on events...huge similarities between what was sold to us as 'the russian threat' and 'sadams WOMDs' hard to know who to believe these days can't help thinking Bush and Kerry belong to the same club

yep..and it is all very scarey...we are all pawns in a large game with the main players motivated by greed and twisted religious doctrine...the sad thing is we all have just one life to live whatever our nationality....why waste that one life with anger and killing...what good is religion or principles if you are dead and your one life is gone..there are times when I despair at the human race

exactly Lel and I would tell them if I could.....that this also applies to the Muslim fundamentalists but they just don't see it, the problem is these people have been indoctrinated with the ethos of how evil the west is from the time they are born. The actions of the west (reinforced by the wests support of Israel and previously the Christian militia in the Lebanon to name but two instances) reinforces their views on the west and rallies even more to thair cause. To my mind bombing and killing lots of people just perpetuates the situation, the only way forward is to understand each other better and cooperate by using the UN but that is not in the interests of some (oil for the US and land in Israel). Yes the UN is a slow moving machine but the long term results for Iraq would have been a lot better than the situation we now have.
