I understand that Oscar is 10 years old so your first consideration must be his health and fitness I would advise a thorough vet check to ensure that there is nothing amiss with his joints, that he has no indications of arthritis, that his spine is sufficiently flexible, that his heart and lungs are ok, and that he is not carrying too much weight.

Even if he has a clean bill of health I would be reluctant to start a senior dog on high-impact agility equipment - no A-frame and no high jumps. He will probably need a bit longer to warm-up and cool-down than much younger dogs.

Agility and flyball are great fun for dog and owner and also give the dog exercise and something interesting to do - but don't expect great speed from the old fellow
