Sunny Tuesday 26th April

Good morning everyone

Pleased Rosie seems a bit better Chris and hope she continues to improve

Lovely here but a bit chilly in the wind.Teazle walked, veg for lunch done and visit to the optician all complete. No change in prescription so that saved me money

Morning Sue yep lovely and sunny here. Went for a wander through the village shops today and wow it is different and not in a good way. Lots closed down. Sad as there used to be lots of shops. Coming back bumped into a lady with her dog and started chatting and well it's a small world, her mum lives opposite where I used to be. Seems I can't escape. Have a good day. Barry get well soon. Sit in the sun that will get rid of it.

Good afternoon all

Lovely and sunny here too, but quite cold this morning again

Hope the doctor's goes OK Kelly

Great news with the opticians Sue. It's so expensive now to have to have new glasses. I'm guessing you are clear for another two years now

I put 200g on but I was expecting it.
Dad's been told he has diabetes...he has 3 months to get it to a better level or he has to be given the official diagnosis and that will affect insurances... apparently. He isn't happy and basically the world has ended lol.

How does it affect insurances Kelly?

Dave was diagnosed with Type 2 quite a few years ago now. Managed to control it with diet initially then it crept up to the point of needing tablets. Initially he was on Metformin but after the gall bladder op, after years of taking them with no problems, he got terrible side effects. Changed to Sukkarto and still got the side effects. Now he's on Algoliptin and no side effects at all although his levels are tipping into the high side

When Dave first got the diagnosis, like all men, he thought he was dying.

These days it seems when either one of us goes to the doctors, we get a new diagnosis of something else as well so I've decided that it's the doctor's we are allergic to
