funny story for you

our 3rd house we bought new and saw it being built, a beautiful 4 bed wood frame construction one with double garage in horley surrey

We went in to do what is called "snagging". that is to spot any faults or omissions left by the builders, giving them time to rectify before we moved in.

Only a couple of minor faults but apart from that ok. So we moved in and all the kitchen cupboard fronts had gone, true. So we complained to the site foreman.

He said don't worry they will be back soon, we needed them for the snagging for next door. yes they were cupboard fronts short so pinched them out of our new home, we got them back later that day.

So we moved in and the road had not been adopted by the council at that time. One afternoon one builder had run a hose across this road and into a window of a house opposite.
Guess what happened next???? the site road sweeper came along WAIT FOR IT.

Yes it not only grabbed the hose across the road but also pulled out the house window frame -glass and all.

Flower plants also went missing over night as well as block paving all left ready for the next day.

You can guess where they went and it wasn't us, but we did hear a lot of wheelbarrow squeaks.

They are all there Barry and we will be visiting again to make sure the
towel radiator is fitted and the front of the shower.
I am sure we will fit all that want to visit.
