Morning all
Been awake ages again, shopping is coming today so will get up after that ( easier to hide up here with the dogs lol)
Hoping to go and visit my partner in crime today but guess it depends on his mood

Morning Kelly and all to hopefully come on today. Been for an early morning walk. Low tide so lots of sand to walk on. Lovely to see lots of dogs out early enjoying the water and of course their owners. Only thing that gets to me are those that let their poor dogs try to catch up with them especially if they are elderly dogs. Poor dogs they must feel abandoned at times. Have a good day everyone. Enjoy your time Kelly if you go.

Good morning all.

A lovely breeze to keep things bearable today (at least this morning)

Washing day today, but oh so much better with machines to do all the work compared to how it used to be. Pulling out the twin tub and trying to get clothes rinsed properly was a nightmare when I was first married to say nothing of clothes all over the place either drying or airing.

Things are so much easier these days

I loved my twin tub. Especially for doing nappies.

Oh they were amazing for nappies, especially for my youngest. He had more allergies than I could count so it was a change as soon as he wet them (terry nappies) or he would look like he had been scalded. Had to use Lux flakes and a boil wash each and every day

I much preferred Terry nappies. Much better for the environment. Ah gone are those days.

My gran had a tub and washboard with a wringer that I used to love to play with. Many a time I got my fingers trapped and boy oh boy did it hurt.

Blimey, the things we remember

Lol, nans hot tub was retired when her brother attempted to "fix it," basically she called my dad in a panic could he help ( it's his mil) over he goes....and basically... well Bernard didn't have a clue, it was beyond repair, there were bits everywhere and it went to the great scrap heap in the sky! My favourite bit was the smaller drum that did the fast spinning
