New Mal x gsd owner - first puppy pics

Hi All,
New forum member so hi to everyone.
I'm picking up my lovely Malamute x GSD puppy tomorrow and the whole family is excited as we have not had a dog for a few years and have been waiting for the right circumstances (eg own our home and work environment) for dog ownership.

Anyway we're getting him from the local RSPCA rescue and have done our research, been going to the centre every day for a couple of weeks so he can get used to us and last night went to Pets at Home and bought pretty much every toy and chew they had to keep him occupied. We hare also going to invest crate training from day 1 and puppy socialisation classes

Any advice you can share is most welcome

Anyway pics......here's nine week old Ted / Marley ( we haven't decided yet)

Thanks
Jim

He is a handsome boy isn't he. Lots of knowledgeable people on here, any problems there's always someone who has already been there I would call him Ted because he looks like a massive teddy bear, and there are so many dogs out there called Marley already you may call him one day and 10 will come running up lol
