£1200 for a crossbreed puppy with only partially health tested parents and NOT from a loving family home where the puppy has been socialised with people, other dogs, animals and household items??
Are you kidding me? If I want a crossbreed I go to an animal rescue. If I want a purebreed puppy I'll go to a reputable breeder who only breed the occasional litter and raise them in their family! And I'll probably still pay less!

The name 'puggles r us' plays onto the popular store 'toys r us' giving the impression that dogs are just that to those people: toys that can be bought, used and replaced at will. Really sad to hear they're simply rehoming one of their breeding bitches, shows that they have no connection with their dogs and they're just seen as money making machines.

Also, just found this:

TWO STUNNING PUGGLE BOYS: Must be sold this week due to holiday comitmments normally £1200 will accept £700

They even sell puppies in what looks like a 'summer sale/liquidation'

Says EVERYTHING about those people.

I saw that, too. REDUCED PRICED PUPS!! MUST GO NOW!! I wonder what happens if nobody buys them? Also, the spelling and grammar on the site is ATROCIOUS!

If the ads and listings don't put people off, the spelling really should. Any truly professional business that gives a half a flying crap will endeavor to spell and write better.

What on Earth is...

"comitmments"

Goodness!

This is most likely what she is speaking of.
I obviously did not check properly so thank you for doing so.

I do not think that anything said on that thread, or on this one does anything but prove that whoever or whatever they are, they are nothing but puppy farmers, and I cannot but think that the OP on this thread is advertising them.

Multi litters, multi cross breeds, all at same time.

Reduced prices, 14 day warranty, limited checks. (sounds like your buying a used car.)

If that is not the definition of a puppy mill, I don't know what is.

Of course - had I checked properly I would have seen that the OP was responding to a thread on Dogsey in February but I did not check so bad me.

But it only makes me feel that the OP is doing nothing more than advertising a puppy farm. Maybe one she is connected to.

It is strange, now that you say that. This is the only post the OP has made. How would she have seen the thread long ago, not responded to it, and now months and months later... come back to defend the thread and the puppy mill. It does not make sense that she'd join the site only to see what people had to say about that place. I'm kind of confused.

I cannot see or understand how the £1200 for a puppy is justified. Not like the plough it back into their dogs, health testing, puppies being properly health screened etc. Totally excessive in my opinion. I know how much it costs me to raise a litter, ensuring the mother is health tested, has proper ante and post natal care, puppies vet checked and screened, worming and correct feeding etc and I would never ask that sort of money for what is an extremely large breed requiring a heck of a lot more than puggles, in fact I would be embarassed to do this.
