I have asked breeder yes and he said all other pups are fine but my puppy also had chronic conjunctivitis and he said all other pups were fine. Vet has checked his coat and skin for fleas (none) he didn't suggest a scraping just suggested an Aloe Vera puppy shampoo which hasn't helped. He did say his skin felt a little greasier than it should but didn't elaborate beyond shampoo. Yes pup does have pet plan for 4 weeks, but the excess is £100 and as appointments cost £60 & £75 I can't claim anything back. But with a pre existing condition now on his vet file my insurance quote has jumped from £17 to £46 a month for life cover. I will ask vet about a scraping.
