Microchip removal. Will we be the first in the country to remove a chip to become illegal?

Just kidding, the vet will sign the exemption certification on the grounds of reaction to the chip which could cause malignant skin damage (in vet speak though).

And today we have the results of the X-rays on both front paws. She has 'dislocating cartilage' on the outer toes of both front paws. Back paws are fine, thank goodness.

Our vet hasn't seen this before, so Willow has been referred to an expert at the local vet hospital. Has anyone come across this? I'd like to know a little about her condition beforehand.
