Man attacked by his own dog dies - while being interviewed by the BBC!

Could the stress of cameras etc been part of the issue?

The Staffordshire bull terrier, which is not a breed prohibited under the Dangerous Dogs Act, injured the 41-year-old in Wood Green on 20 March.

The man, named locally as Mario Perivoitos, suffered injuries to this throat and was taken to hospital, but was pronounced dead two hours later.

It is understood the man was being interviewed for a BBC documentary at the time of the attack.

I read this earlier and no one had a bad word to say about the dog unlike the owner who seemed to be the neighbour from hell.
I was left wondering why no one could get the dog off as there were multiple adults present.

I agree. It stretches credibility.

Hello,

Staffy's are known to want a lot of attention from their owners. All dogs do but Staffy's to an even greater extent. As the owner was receiving this and not the dog, it might feel left out??? Could the dog's reason of attack be this? I'm grasping at straws here.

I suppose, at a stretch, it could have made the dog jealous.
To the point of attack? And, even if it did, couldn't the crew have intervened?

Very suspect story.
