Really pleased.

With Dillon. I decided to pop him in the car for a short journey to the field for a walk. This journey literally takes seconds by car.

At first he didn't want to get in but with the persuasion of a ginger biscuit well a small piece he put his front legs on the seat so I could hoik his back legs in and strap him in and off we went and not to much drooling. We took a nice walk round the track we use on the field and then cut into the crem and had a wander and sniff about then back to the car. He got straight in for me and we came home.

The actual journey was only about 5 seconds in the car but all positive and no drooling or being sick.

Lets hope it has the desired effect for Thursday evening when we are visiting the vet to be health checked for Cerenia.

He may not need it on shorter journeys but when we take a longer one it may well be worth having to hand so he doesn't have anymore bad experiences.

Lots of short journeys is what helped Casper, it was about a mile and a half to the local petshop so off we'd pop, and at the end of the drive he'd get spoilt with some free treats from the petshop manageress too. We'd have a natter, I'd take him for a walk around town then back in the car for a couple of minutes back home. Hope it does the trick for Dillon

Yayyyyyy, fingers crossed it keeps going well Lyn. Kibo made it to the kennels and back again a six mile trip without being sick either time. Lots of drooling and a bit of a miserable face, but we're getting there- I hope!

Well done. I will do the same tomorrow but will still go to the vet on Thursday for a chat. Its longer journeys I think will be the let down.
