Puppys

does any1 know how long it shud generally take for an akitas ears to raise up ??

all of tayas brothers and sisters ears have raised they are all 9 weeks old alough taya has still got floppy ears i know u can get the odd dogs which remain with floppy ears but wat is the age is in which u realise they will neva raise ?

Nala was a good 16 weeks before her ears were up permanently.

When they did go up they were huge (which is a fault in Akitas) but she soon outgrew them and they are lovely and small now

heya chellie thanx its just i see her brothers and sisters all have raised there ears now taya is the only 1 that hasnt but atleast i now know that them raising isnt outta the question hopefully they are just late at raising ..

i wud put pics on and even have a lil video i just did of her destroying some paper off the table ha ha ha but i dunno how to get them on here can u help ?

heya jem yes i had 5 wen i was wid me ex partner but they were all taken in as adults neva had 1 raised from a pup tho so this stage of things is a lil new to me x

Never had an Akita, but my GSD's ears were up and down like yo-yo's for quite some time before they eventually stood up!!! I do remember they were especially bad when he was teething.
