Nice to see Peacocks

I lost a huge Buddleia last year which used to be covered in peacocks, admirals and tortoiseshells - ideal for photography.

I love seeing nature Linda and having it in my back garden.
Meant to say to Helena I think butterflies are part of the pollinating chain but if their not and have no real purpose I still love them as they are so beautiful.
Gorden says it makes him feel like singing zippedy doo dah when he walks past as they fly around you.

Me too Lynn - I planted ours close to the kitchen window so I can see all the butterflies. It's amazing how many come.

Don't know how I missed this thread but I did!

I absolutely LOVE butterflies and have a forest of buddleias out the back (about 20 feet high) and a couple of smaller ones at the front for that very reason. This year though we have no where near as many bees or butterflies as usual.

I adore butterflies (and Dillon) but we have not had any this year. They are usually here, but for some reason not this year. I wonder why? Pretty photos all around.
