My midwife caught me gardening the day after coming out of hospital with my first. I didn`t know midwives knew language like that .
Seriously though - allow yourself plenty of time to recuperate. The more you can rest, the better you`ll feel.

All very well thought out Kazz. Good luck with your op and please don't over do things.
Claire is right when she says you need to rest, remember there are a lot of big muscles that are cut through in a hysterectomy that need time to recover. These are muscles that you are going to need for gardening in years to come! So give them time to heal and strengthen.
