Hey

My Miele arrived on Thursday and it's been a love afair ever since!!! It is AMAZING!!

Our natural carpets look like they've been cleaned and it's so powerful (it lifts the carpet!) and easy to use!! Cannot recommend them enough. They piss all over Dyson for reliability too. My parents have had theirs for 10 years where my PiL are now on their third Dyson is 7 years!

ETA: we have this one - http://www.johnlewis.com/230564455/Product.aspx

I had a Henry and hated it. it was such hard work.
I have a Miele cat and dog now and it is the best thing I have ever owned, beats my dyson hands down. makes hoovering efortless and reaches right up to the skirting board without using the onboard tools.

I can't "do" cylinder vacs, so for me it's been Dyson for some years now. I have two, one being an Animal.

Although not as good as they once were, I believe it's just a case of changing the worn brushes to make them fab again!

I am afraid I am off the Dyson at the moment. The suction seems to have gone on mine
