DT's are perfect for things like this, because it makes it easier for someone else to take over if the original organiser can't continue
(as we can just add the new organiser's name to the thread).

(doesn't take much eh!)If everyone puts their details on the direct thread (which the general public cant see?), how will the organiser give each person the address to send to and keep it secret from that person?
