Tom won a rosette at the Dog Show ;-)

Just popped in the let you know how proud I am of Tom , many of the long time members will know of Toms fearfulness and how it has been a long haul with him to be comfortable with other dogs other than Bella and my close friends dogs.

I took Tom to a fun dog show today supporting a greyhound rescue, it was open to all classes with a separate ring for hounds for a fun show. I had no intention of entering Tom , I wanted to see how he settled and coped with all dogs , all shapes and sizes and meet up with a couple of friends.

He was very good and 12 months ago I wouldn't even have considered taking him into that type of environment in a month of Sundays !

We entered the Waggiest tail class on the spur of the moment and not only did he manage to be in the ring with a dozen or so other hounds he displayed his super waggy tail to the judges on demand ! He won a Third place Rosette, I am so proud of him and how he has improved, it just goes to show that never to give up and keep on making daily progress with fearful dogs like Tom and its amazing what you and the dog can achieve.
