Good afternoon all.

Our first, full dry day here in what seems like forever. Beautiful day with the sun shining and a nice breeze.

Gary went with us this morning and as the petrol mower had run out of juice, we went without him this afternoon, filled the petrol can and had some us time. So today, Dave has done the two walks without the scooter and he's mowed the grass back and front. A big achievement for him and shows how much back to normal he is. He has a bit of pain in his side, but not any more than he was told to expect after exercise. Chuffed to bits because now he can make his own meals. I hate cooking

Evening everyone. Nice couple of hours with joel and lauren for lunch.

Guy came this morning to do the measurements and discuss what we would like and what we could have realistically. I think it is going to be out of our budget due to needing a drain moved or maybe we look into something smaller not sure how much space we would gain though.
There is always the option of a log cabin which was our first thoughts while thinking about and first moving in here. We shall see might know by the end of the week.

I did have a good day, met up with a lot of my mums old workmates who are now my friends... lovely time was had by all, my mum is so kind.. she paid for everyone's dinner
