Harvey, how about asking the cinnamon trust if they could supply someone to let them out for a wee and just spend a little time with them. I hope your treatment isn't too bad

Good afternoon all.

Lovely morning here and Dave did our full walk without the scooter - yay!! It will be put away now until it's needed again. Hopefully, not for a long time or ever.

This afternoon it has been very rainy again. They've evacuated another 600 homes in Wainfleet as they have found more weaknesses in the river bank and the pumping station is on the verge of giving up the ghost. I feel so, so sorry for the people affected.

Harvey, I have everything crossed that whatever is going on with you is sorted out and you can ditch the oxygen and get back to your normal life. Please pop on to up-date us now and again and know that we are all willing you to be well x

Awwwwww well done Dave!!! Absolutely fantastic
Steve is thrilled with his tattoo, the smile on his face was brilliant and he is booked in for some more work, it's absolutely amazing what Martin achieved

I went and had a tinker with the car this evening, my dad tried and failed...did his usual thing of disregarding me, he went out and the car started, but only after he had flicked the key back and forth, then he turned it off, tried it again and it ran...but then began revving on its own, turned it off, tried again... nope, no start so he decided to strip it out, I offered advice but he blanked me...he gave up, 10 mins later, I had the ignition cowl stripped ( the ignition is built into his dash) I just said, before I go ahead and dismantle it, try again....he did and she started and ran beautifully.... turned her off, again....fine! So we will try tomorrow and if all is good I suspect I know what's wrong and I will save him...well mum £141 and dad won't need to deal with the ignition....he can get the brakes sorted...think that's just bleeding

Thanks to everyone above for all your good wishes above it's very much appreciated.

Chris - glad that you can park the scooter and as you say it may never see the light of day again

Griff - also pleased you can do something on the car, it's a nice feeling when you fix a problem, especially when it's been tried by others (unsuccessfully ) Dad may not say much but I'm sure he's pleased you sorted it.
