Roller Derby!

My sister just had her first bout today and her team won! hoorah! I am so proud of her!

If anyone doesnt know about roller derby yet its a very watchable all female full contact sport on roller skates! (what more would you need?!) Have a watch of the 'whip it!' film that came out last year for the hollywood version!

Skating seems to be back in fashion ,,,
my son Dj's everyweek end at roller skating events ..

i used to do it but i tore the cartilidge in my knee and it hasnt healed that well, i really miss it but i cant risk being injured for that long again, especially with the dog now!
