Milan - the last of the Trouble Dobermanns

This is the message from Shirley, with her permission to post it.

Milan my black Dobermann was put to sleep at 4pm today. She was her usual crazy self when she got up this morning. Was fine until about 2pm when she became very lethargic. I rang the vets and got an appointment for 4pm. He confirmed my fears, She had a splenic tumour bleeding into her abdomen. Her abdomen was filling with blood and she was very anaemic. He said she'd die naturally within a couple of hours. Apparently it's painless but I couldn't just leave her to die. So she was put to sleep cradled in my arms. Sleep tight Milan x
Run free Milan - now with Syd and Rio - run free all three of you, run as fast as you can. xx
