Cooking a 3 course meal

i want to cook a 3 course meal for the OH but dont really know where to start... i havent cooked anything complicated, but im up for a challenge.

just want ideas on what you think would be a good starter, main and dessert.

all i know is i want is to do those daphinois potato things, never made them before but i like them!

other than that i have no idea!

so all suggestions welcome!

Starter: some sort of seafood thingie

Main Course: Beef Wellington (that's a challenge!)& would go nice with your posh potatoes

Dessert: Banoffie Pie

or failing that.......... there's always M&S
