What breed has the most variations in marking etc?

There are some breeds out there who despite all their little personal traits and characters all look very similar (not the same, just very similar).

There are also, in my opinion a few breeds where no two dogs ever look the same. Take springers for example.

Would you agree? If so, what breed do you think has the most variety in it?

Boxers have a variety of markings from solid to flashy marked boxers.

In terms of colour I'd say Staffies, too. They come in all the colours of the canine rainbow.

See they're one of my "generally look the same" breeds.

If you randomly pluck 100 tan boxers I think they'd all look pretty similar, whereas 100 working line liver and white springers would all look completely different. Or have I just not seen enough boxers yet?

Difficult one!

GSDs go from white to black and many colours/combination of colours in between.

Dalmations have different spots.

Staffies come in more colours than imaginable..

But for me I think the breed with the most variety in markings, coat and physical shape is the Catahoula Leopard Dog.

Maybe its because they are my breed I can see the difference There are flashy boxers and solid/plain boxers so the amount of white varies.

Star is a plain(ish) red boxer and Finn is an extra, extra flashy brindle boxer (ie white)

Frankly if you plunk 100 dogs of any breed of the same colour and similar lines and put them together, they are going to generally look the 'same'.
