I think she is feeling better today. She was barking when i got in this morning so i think she is going to be ok. She is drinking water on her own as well. She is staying in for another 4 days at least.

Hi Meg'sMummy so sorry to hear about your little one being poorly , I do hope she is better soon.

I hope you don't mind my asking , has the vet tested to confirm it is Parvo and not something else like Heamorrhagic Gastroenteritis (HGE) and was Ana vaccinated.

It is useful to know these things for future reference particularly if it turns out to be a variant strain of Parvo and any information you can give may help others.

Parvo has a distinctive smell, I would call it sweet/sickly/fishy/rotting meat all combined, once smelt never forgotten..

Yea it is deffo parvo! She was tested and it was confirmed. Meg had about 2 and a half years ago and i remebered the smell very well. She was booked into be vaccinated today! So she is having them done when she leaves.
