I use a rubber mit and a metal scraper for horses its like a long strip of metal with little teeth on it like a saw. Chloe would know what it is called.

Isn't that sharp? I mean I'm using a brush specific for dogs but it seems like the "pins" on the brush are hurting her when I brush

No if you look at the teeth on a saw they are as small as that. I just brush them with it like a normal brush and you get covered in hairs. I could knit a jumper

Okay now I know what you mean, Just asked a colleague who have a horse herself. I'll find a place and buy it if I can.

Thanks.

Thanks everyone. I will try the curry comb too. I also use baby wipes and bathe my dogs using baby shampoo. I only bathe them 2x per month because if I go it more often they get really dry skin and flakes. I do brush them but use a wire brush.

When I used to show my old black girl I was told to wipe her over with a chami leather which had witch hazel on it. it stops the scurf.

Sorry about the spelling
