Wormers

I have found some great wormers called Milbemax.

They have a weight range as opposed to having a dose per weight. So my lot came within the 40 kgs to 85 kgs and they all had three tablets each and what I like is that you actually see dead worms. I never feel happy with the ones that crush them inside. We have a vet nurse on our stable yard and she recommended them to me.

I don't know you could try a search on google. I have just looked at the three for Petal, she will have hers when she has finished her antibiotics, it says Novartis they must be the makers I think.

Hi Ivermectin and related drugs have been found to cause bad reactions in collies including death. So just better to be informed and not take chances .Perfectly good wormer otherwise.Gillian

Hi,

Worming is a good idea.

I usually do a worming session once a year. However your environment will also be something to consider! Do youhave a large Fox population about (Foxes tend not to worm themselves each year!)?

I get an all round worm kit for both tape and round worm.
